The List of Combustible Thoughts

What is this?

Sounds super ominous.

Dark, down in the dungeon verbiage.

Well guess what?

This is the crap we say to ourselves that prevents us from going after what we want.

I call it the Combustibles.

Why?

Because when we listen to it, our dreams blow up in our face.

So when you finally decide that you have had enough and are going to take that first step to reaching your goal you need to:


Plan for setbacks and doubts
You are going to have them.


I guarantee it.


It is all a part of taking risks, making changes.
You should expect it.
By planning it you will set yourself up for success.


When it happens you can say “Oh ya, I thought this might happen. So now I will do this instead”.
Plan to fail at one step or another.


That is how we learn right?
That is how you figure out what works.


If you quit because something didn’t work, how will you find out what does work?
When making your action plan you are going to make what I call your List of Combustibles.


What the heck is that you ask?


The items on this list are the ones that could blow up in your face if you don’t plan for them.
This is the list where you write down all of the obstacles that could happen and replace with solutions.
You are going to blow it out of the water and get through it because you planned it!


I challenge you to write your own list of combustibles with that dream of yours that has been sitting on the back burner.


Bust out the negativity and plan the solution.
